Amazing Fishing Experience with Captain Frenchy!
My fishing trip with Captain Frenchy was an absolute blast! He made it his sole purpose to find fish and he did not disappoint. We were thoroughly impressed with his hospitality, positive attitude, and deep knowledge of fish behavior and water tides. His expertise is truly second to none. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Captain Frenchy to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing experience. I’m already planning my next trip with him!

It was a pleasure to spend the day with Captain Frenchy. While other boats were racing around trying to find fish, Captain Frenchy was setting me up and helping me Reds, Speckled Trout, and the largest Sheepshead I could imagine catching.  His knowledge of the area and passion for fishing made for an exciting day. His boat and equipment were top notch and he went to all efforts to ensure I caught a variety of fish when no other boats could. Will definitely come back and book Captain Frenchy again!

Despite suboptimal fishing conditions my 9 year old son and I had a fantastic time with Captain Frenchy. In fact, my son said it was a “10 out of 10” and that he was “super funny and super fun”. We caught numerous different species of fish (all small), lost a few more due to our ineptitude, and saw numerous small alligators on the way back. Captain Frenchy was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. We absolutely plan to return to another trip with him and would recommend to others.

  My wife and I had an amazing experience on Oct. 7, 2024 chartering a half-day excursion into the Gulf with Captain Frenchy. The Captain placed our comfort as paramount and followed all protocol for a safe adventure.

  We are used to fishing freshwater lakes in Colorado, so this was a new experience for us. Captain Frenchy instructed us on a unique (to me) angling method consisting of Live Shrimp for bait under a popping cork. It worked well!

  He has an amazing ability to read the water and know where the fish were. I can only conclude this talent was developed after many years of experience.

  Our prize catch was a Sheepshead- the teeth on that thing were amazing! We hooked a few Redfish and caught numerous Speckled Trout as well. The option of having them cleaned and fileted and transported a restaurant for preparation exists. We opted for catch and release.

  The Captain’s easy manner and amiability were impressive. All of our needs were satisfied and he went way beyond our expectations. Anyone looking for a positive experience fishing the Gulf should consider booking a trip.

My husband and I came to New Orleans and decided to try a fishing charter, I can’t explain to you how grateful we are that we booked captain frenchy; he was a great experience.
He is so knowledgeable about fishing and can tell you down to the second the fish is going to bite your line, it truly his passion. Other boats that day were not getting bite, how ever we came home with a whole cooler full of fish and a of large variety: black drummers, red fish, spotted trout, white trout, croaker, and sheep’s head. He taught us different techniques that we can take with us to apply when fishing alone. He’s happy to help and if you are struggling with one technique he will teach you another way to help you learn. I would 100% recommend frenchy and 100% book this charter again.
