There's nothing like hooking into a big bull red! Whether your fishing with a popping cork or on bottom, they put up one heck of a fight!!

Bill Ellis and his son really picked a great day to go fishing on the Georgia coast! We didn't have to go too far out and the bite was non-stop from the first drop we made. "Man what a trip! over 30 fish in less than 2 hours". There were plenty of smiles and plenty of fish in the cooler. Congratulations Bill and we'll see you next time! Jay Cranford Coastal Ga Fishing

The day started off on time and expected except for the visual conditions of the boat; it reminded me of old rerun episodes of Gilligan’s Island! Nonetheless we continued to board the old Carolina skiff as the thought crossed my mind, “well worn and tattered equipment could be a sign of a busy and successful guide.” Unfortunately that was anything but the truth. Every spot we stopped on was DEAD! We were skunked virtually all day landing a mixed dozen of pin fish and small sting... More

You fished with Captain Drew…... Sorry to hear about the tough day…. It happens to the best Captains sometimes, but sorry it happened while you were on board. I talked to Captain Drew about taking you out on another trip to make up for the disappointing wasted day… Captain Drew is a good Captain, just had a bad luck day…... We are willing to take you and your guest out on another Charter at our expense when it is convenient for you…... Captain Jay CGF

The day started with a forgot tackle box at the dock after about 15 minutes out. So that cost us about thirty minutes to turn back for it. We finally got to a fishing spot around 9 but by 10:15 Capt. brooks had got a sting from a ray on his hand. After a few minutes we went over to a dock near by and he went inside to doctor it up. We sat in the boat for about twenty minutes and when he returned said he was going to knock off a hundred dollars that he needed to go to the doctor. Capt. Brooks... More

Mr. Larry. I’m very disappointed that you gave us a bad review on your trip but when a Captain or anyone else gets stung by stingray that is a very serious event!
If you remember correctly Steve Irwin died from a stingray Furthermore your daughter is the one that caught the stingray and she brought it up in the boat which we never do…. We were attending to you at the time she caught it and she elected to reel it all the way into the boat.
We NEVER bring stingrays in our boats and the Captain got stung by the stingray when he was assisting your daughter to keep her from getting stung ....again I’m very surprised that you took this angle on your review. We will gladly make an adjustment of time if you would like to fish with us again and add a couple of hours to your trip. As you stated you caught a lot of fish while you were on the boat but unfortunately things do happen and I’m really glad it wasn’t your daughter that got stung. The Captain ended up going to the emergency room where he was treated for a lot of pain and had to get prescribed medication. Needless to say that cost him a lot of money although he did refund you $100. The blame lies with no one… The facts are he got stung by a Ray and had to be attended to immediately. We appreciate you choosing Fishingbooker to book your trip and hopefully you’ll fish with us again in the future.

Great, personable guide. We were all experienced but Drew explained the process, and technigues for Trout, Sheephead, and Flounder. We caught all three and looked good at fish cleaning station beside others there. Highly recommend
