Background: I was raised fishing in Rhodes Island waters, and I have commercially fished RI for 35 years. I have run charters for over 20 years. The ocean is one of my greatest passions . When I was younger, I was a competitive freediver/spearfisherman and US national spearfishing champion. I am fortunate to hold two world records. The world record speared Striped Bass and pole-speared Striped Bass. Spearit also holds the largest Albacore tuna rod&reel Rhode Island state record. If you have no experience fishing, we are happy to help you learn.
Techniques: Jigging as well as sight casting to breaking fish are among my favorite techniques.

Awesome striper feed! Cought 9 big bass to 50lbs and then spent the next hour catching seabass and fluke for the dinner plate. All the striped bass were released to fight another day?

It was such a fun trip! Limit of jumbo seabass, scup, and 5 fluke, one that was a 7 pounds! Non-stop bite, catching more than 150 fish !

The bass bite continues to be great. Lots of slots mixed in with bigger fish. Steady bite of black seabass with big seabass mixed in. Great fishing continues.

This was the best fishing trip we’ve been on. We caught lots of fish, Dave knew exactly where to go where they were biting. He and Matt were so good with the kids. Added a bonus was Bailey the dog, who definitely made the trip for our granddaughter.
