Captain Matt & his son Gio were great! We told him we wanted to catch Mahi Mahi, and even though it’s not the right time of year, he put us on them. We didn’t catch a ton, but we were able to catch exactly what we wanted. It was a fun trip! Just a heads up for anyone that gets motion sickness: the waves in the North Shore are no joke!! Take some Dramamine or use sea sick patches.

Matt and Gio provided an awesome first fishing experience while in Hawaii. The boat, the music and their engagement was appreciated. We also caught several mahi Mahi during our trip. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a fishing trip and staying near the north shore.

Captain Matt was great! Super communicative and it was smooth sailing. Got us on a 160lb+ ahi and is a hell of a fisherman. Would recommend to anyone looking for a personal trip. 🤙

Great local guide.  Very friendly. Easy conversation.  His son did a great job as first mate. Fishing was slow, but the captain worked very hard to take care of us.  We had a good time.  It was slow on top, so it was a nice change of pace to spend a hour bottom fishing to get something on the boat.  I really enjoyed being in control of the catch from start to finish.  We’ll definitely look him up next time we’re here. Went out with Capt. Matt right before the new year and had an amazing trip. We started off the morning trolling and about 1 hour in experienced an epic double hook up on striped marlin which we got to fight on standup tackle. Both marlin were in the 50-60lb class and gave us a show to remember. We kept trolling and later had a triple hookup on mahi mahi. Overall, amazing trip. Capt.
