Our fishing trip with Kodiak Adventure Fishing was an unforgettable experience. We caught an incredible variety of fish, so many that we lost count by the end of the day. Among our catches were a halibut, a flounder, a yelloweye fish, various types of cod, including lingcod and Pacific cod, and several species of rockfish.
The fishing spots were diverse, ranging from open ocean areas to locations near the islands, offering stunning views as we fished.
Our guide, Brian, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly in tune with our group. He made sure we were comfortable and having a great time throughout the trip. His expertise and enthusiasm truly enhanced our adventure, making it a trip to remember.
The boat was comfortable with an enclosed area where we could shelter in case of wind.

We highly recommend Kodiak Adventure Fishing and Brian as a guide for anyone looking to have an amazing fishing experience.

My new wife and I came to Alaska for our honeymoon and tried our luck at catching a king salmon while we were there. We’re both relatively novice fishermen and Captain Brett was able to show us the way on our tour. He was very informative about the fish, process, equipment, etc. While we ultimately didn’t catch anything, Brett made it such a fun trip! After our trip up to Denali was cancelled due to a wildfire, we looked into booking another salmon fishing tour to try again, but unfortunately they were already fully booked for the remaining days we were there. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves fishing, being out in nature, or is looking for something to do around Anchorage!

My cousin was in town visiting from DC, and I wanted to give her a very memorable Alaska fishing experience near town. We booked with Brian/Alaska Outdoors Addiction last minute, they did not disappoint. Being on the knik river was so amazing. The boat was comfortable. The crew was just outstanding. My cousin was happy; I was happy. We were so grateful for Brian and his crew. We weren’t so lucky this time as far as catching any fish; the experience alone exceeded our expectations. We will book with Brian again in the near future. My advice is to just go with the flow; it’s Alaska, enjoy yourself.🤷♀️😊

I still had alot of fun with Brett! He was awesome to talk to and showed me how to bait my own line and just down to earth! I did at least get to see the beginning of a sunrise and two bald eagles! So that’s something! Brian was great too when he called me the night before to let me know the do’s and don’ts of fishing for King Salmon. Great trip guys even though I got skunked but I’m gonna try and book again!!  Thanks so much!
