We did a half day with Capt Nuno sailing from Funchal.  I have two young children so needed a kid friendly trip to ensure they had fun!

First, Captain Nuno suggested we change the day as seas were rough and would have been more challenging for kids. He was extremely flexible and moved it to a late afternoon trip so it was less challenging for the kids. 

Boat was excellent as was equipment.  Kids pulled up a load of Snapper, Bream and Grouper on bait with the 10 year old pulling up 3kg red snapper on bait.  We also did some slow jigging and picked up a few really nice sized red snapper. The largest one unfortunately pulled the hook!

Awesome trip. Kids were kept really active and I had a few really good size fish on nice light tackle. 
Captain Nuno and his crew were superb and boat and equipment excellent. Very easy to find and arrange.

We will definitely be back and fish again with Madeira Sea Fishing next year.
Highly recommended for family fishing day (or adult day if you want to only chase the larger ones!)

My 14 year old son and I went on his first fishing trip this Christmas and it was a huge success.  Our Captain certainly knew where the fish were and are we managed to lad a 45 - 50kg. Amberjack,...but it took a while.  We lost another one about the same size but also caught a 5kg. Red Snapper which we cooked for lunch - DELICIOUS !!.  I would highly recommend this trip for both experienced fisherman as well as beginners.  ENJOY !!!

A Hard day fishing but Capt Nuno kept going and we had a run about 3.30 on and took nearly 2 hours to land a fantastic PB 308 lb Big Eye Tuna! Fantastic day,superb Capt and Mate! I have fished all over the world but these guys were very professional, personable and pleasant! Nice food and beverages! We will be back on “ Freed em” out Funchal old harbour Madeira!
