Captain John and his first mate Chris were fantastic!  We started catching fish immediately and had so much fun.  Captain John is very experienced and made us feel safe and comfortable.  He was able to find many good spots for us to catch lots of fish. John and Chris are an outstanding team and I highly recommend booking through them. These are experienced fishermen and outdoorsmen with a wealth of knowledge. They were abled to put us on fish and ensure we had a good time. They shared their favorite methods and recipes for the different species we caught. We had 6 people on board and everyone left the trip catching multiple fish!  Most of us caught multiple striped bass on one cast which was an exciting challenge of endurance lol.  Captain Lee then made sure we got to experience some bottom fishing where we caught fluke, dogfish and a sea bass.  Thank you both for the beautiful day!

Went on JL Charters for the first time yesterday. Captian John and Chris THE BEST! Boat clean, service great, just wish the “chew” was better. Captain did his best and Chris worked hard the entire trip. I Will definitely be chartering again and would recommend them to all anglers, novice and Fishermen.

Captain John and his deckhand Chris were amazing. Our family chartered with them as a high school graduation present for my son. They made sure we caught our fill of sea bass, porgies, striped bass and even a brown shark. We will definitely be booking another trip with them in the future!!
