Went out with Captain Joe who put us right on a silver salmon bite that was red hot. All five clients limited in less than an hour. We then chased halibut and put multiple in the boat including a couple monsters. Joe was professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Blue Ice Alaska Charters.

Captain Mike and Jake were great!  There was a delay getting started but Mike was very communicative and open about the issue.  We got on our way and snagged a few random fish right away! Mike and Jake were good company and we enjoyed visiting as we waited for bites.  We appreciated that they let us fish to our comfort level - no experience to experienced.  We caught 7 rockfish and 3 halibut as well as many throw backs. We even saw a whale!  It was a great day at sea!

Our family of 6 had a great time with Captain Bub on the Salty Loot!  We are all fishing novices but still managed to catch near our limit and were able to see various wildlife (orca, humpbacks, sea lions, & puffins) en route to our fishing spots. It was a day to remember!

Weather was amazing and Captain Bub says, “you’re crazy if you don’t go out past Montague on a day like today” and that’s where we went.  Got into big yellow eye, ling cod, and eventually 50lbs halibut.  And Bub has an amazing playlist for tunes

Captain Bub was fun, full of interesting facts about the area, sbd he was so great with our kids!  We have four kids, ages 9-17, and he made sure they all had a good time and caught fish.  We highly recommend a Blue Ice Charters.
