We had the best time fishing! Best time! We were leaving already and the captain said we owe him 20% tip of the cost of trip. The helper guy Jake I believe was so nice so nice! But the captain was not into it and than made you feel like crap and gave you attitude for not tipping him 20% of the whole trip. Made it sound like we owned it to him we tipped but wasn’t 20% so he made sure to let all of us know. Totally almost ruined the whole wonderful trip we had. Jake guy was amazing it’s the captain that ruined it! But he could’ve had a bad day! I’d still recommend this company

Had an incredible time fishing with Blue Ice Charters. Captain Dave knows exactly where to go, and Bub keeps the energy high and the lines tight. The boat was clean, the gear was solid.  We had a slow halibut morning but the crew knew where tot and us next where we limited quickly. These guys are pros and made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go again!

I’m disappointed because I paid and came here for king salmon fishing (bucket list) both times the captain of the boat was very knowledgable about the where abouts of the king salmon was running or not. Instead took us to fishing holes where only the Halibut and Rockfish was active. Everyone that was on boat had bought the King Salmon permits and did not get their money’s worth. Yes we knew that there was no garantees, However, I feel NOT every effort was made to give us the chance to go to where the King Salmon was running. The crew member Jake was outstanding with making our outting as great as possible. He went over and beyound expectations. As far as I’m concerned “THIS WAS NOT THE PERFECT FISHING TRIP” I recomend that all anglers do your due deligents and find fishing companies or private captains that will take you specfically to area’s where you will find the kind of fishing you’re looking for instead of your typical fishing trip just to catch any kind fish.

Solid vessel ( Salty Loot), Captain Joe and Bub were excellent, waters were nice, fishing was great.  Near perfect fishing trip, only wish the lingcod was a keeper. Thank you!

The captain and deck hand were truly outstanding!!! Worked hard for all anglers to catch limits of multiple species!  Would highly recommend a day on the water with them!
