When I arrived at our hotel the night before our charter and told a local we were fishing in the morning with Captain Chris they called him a “living legend on Jekyl”. He didn’t disappoint! Very knowledgeable, a great teacher with us adults and the kids. We had a great time catching drumfish, whitings and a few sharks. He made it fun! Finally he filet all the fish and we took it to St Simon and had it cooked for us at a local restaurant. We will be back next year!!!

Capt Chris was great handling 5 children aged 8-13 - showing us his expertise (and patience for young first-timers) in fishing and interesting facts about the area!  We had so much fun exploring the beautiful area, fishing, and being in nature. We caught tons of fish including a huge red fish (one of the young first timers landed it with the captains help!), whiting, stingrays, and toad fish! We plan to book with Capt Chris again next time we are in Jekyll!

Capn Chris was awesome! I found him through FishingBooker and was not disappointed. We went out and caught a few sharks and a couple big sting rays! The weather wasnt cooperative but it was still a great time. Would 100% book with Capn Chris and Island Catch Charters again!

His boat and equipment were outstanding!  Capt Chris was very knowledgeable of the area and any targeted species we set out to catch.  Put us on fish and we caught a bunch of different kinds and came home with some nice black drum for dinner.  Had a great day with him!

This fishing trip was an overall great experience in itself. Chris was an excellent fishing guide and showed us a wonderful time. I will 100% recommend captain Chris. And 100% would fish with him again.
