Capn Chris was awesome! I found him through FishingBooker and was not disappointed. We went out and caught a few sharks and a couple big sting rays! The weather wasnt cooperative but it was still a great time. Would 100% book with Capn Chris and Island Catch Charters again!
June 10th we went out with Captain Chris at 8am and had a truly amazing time. It was me, my 12 and 9 yr old boys and my friend and his 11 and 8 yr old boys. Captain walked the boys through exactly what to do and helped guide them when they had a fish on the line. We caught 4-5 sharks ranging from 2’ - 4’+ and 2 sting rays 2-3’ in diameter. On the way back to the dock we met a pod of dolphins and stopped to observe them. It was so cool. The boys have said this is the best part of our vacation. Thanks again Captain Chris! Awesome boat and equipment. Your wealth of knowledge and guidance with the kids made the trip and memories very special.
I always wanted to get my kids out making memories fishing like I did at their age. Captain Chris definitely delivered, and had the kids having fun every step of the way. From taking a small detour to watch a pod of dolphins. To ensuring the kids where involved even when it came to baiting. My kids where's laughing and having fun the whole time. When the hits started coming he made sure the whole family was having fun. Helping our smaller anglers reel in their catch to making sure me and my wife where doing exactly what we needed to do. I can definitely say we had the greatest time.
Cant recommend enough. we hit about 40 keepe fish or more in the time slot. He got my crew of teens and young daughter and oldest son to all smile laugh. most importantly we caught fish all day. his instinct and knowledge was very impressive and cant thank him enough for all the amazing views, memories, laughter and just all around great trip. Cant say enough good things. Thanks Capt! Will be back again and again Ps nicest fishing charter boat we have been on!! almost forgot to mention the boat!!! Absolutely beautiful charter boat. Comfortable and clean basically smoothest boat I have been on. Made me feel fancy

We were promised that we would catch fish and within 10 minutes of getting on boat first shark was hooked. We caught sharks and stingrays all afternoon. Captain Chris was very engaged and taught us quickly the way to use the equipment that was provided for the trip. He was encouraging and it made for a very fun afternoon. Capped off the day with a cruise around to look for dolphins with amazing results.
Capt. Chris did a great job putting us on some keeper fish! He communicated good before the trip and was very flexible to our changing schedule. He was on time and we had lines in the water within 25 minutes. He gave us plenty of tips and did a great job cleaning our catch. If you are looking to limit out hes not your guy, but if tou want to fish with an experienced Captain who cares about your experience, he us your man!
