We have investigated this matter further and the items you pointed out, that we have control over, we have taken action. Unfortunately our meals cannot be steaming hot, but the dishes we use are thermally insulated, which keeps the food temperate, we are not sure why this did not work 100%, we are are currently sourcing different types of options to see if there is a better way. With regards to coffee, we are situated on a hotel property, if you had requested a cup we would have got you one. We have taken this suggestion forward though as a little coffee station for the early mornings sounds great!

With regards to fishing, we wish our Clients could catch every time, we understand how frustrated you must be, but fishing is fishing otherwise it would be called catching, Mauritius sounds wonderful but is completely different from Tanzania. We have the best days and the worst days, I can guarantee you our skipper took you to the best potential spot for that day, there are so many factors at play that can interfere with your fishing, the heat is one of them, the fish try to stay as close to the ocean floor as possible to keep cool, there may have been a bad storm before or coming, we have also had a huge increase in dolphin pods on this side, as in hundreds and hundreds more dolphins are around.

We again would like to apologise for this experience and wish you had informed us before you left Zanzibar as we would of really wanted to make this right with you.

Thank you for writing a review, as we always appreciate feedback.
Our fleet of fishing boats are serviced and booked for maintenance on a monthly basis as well as for the wood work and paint to be fixed / touched up, so as to maintain the boats up to standard.
The boat, Baloo, runs on 2x Volvo Penta 360 horsepower engines. These would understandably not be silent engines, however, this is the first time within 20years of operation, that we have had a Guest complain about engine noise. We will be sure to look into this.

As there were only two of you, perhaps the captain could have assisted to find you alternative seating further away from the engine on this 36ft vessel, apologies that this didn’t happen. We will talk with the captains that went with you today and ensure that this does happen, should such an occasion arise again.

We have spoken to the Captains and did investigate the matter, it seemed that there was only a gasoline smell (from the engines) for a short period of time, as the wind changed direction. Unfortunately, that is something that is slightly out of our control, however, we will look into the matter and see if there is any way that we can somehow manage this going forward.

The most fish caught recently has been on-board Baloo, including:
* Black Marlin 104kg
* Sailfish 24kg + 35kg
* Wahoo 15kg
* Dorado 5kg + 14kg +5kg
We are terribly sorry that you didn’t manage to catch any fish on your charter today, unfortunately with fishing it is not always a guarantee.

We would like to sincerely apologise for the experience that you had today and that we did not meet your expectations.
I can assure you that we always strive to keep our guests happy and to have them enjoy their time spent with us. Customer satisfaction is our number one aim and we always try our level best to ensure this.
