Incredible day on the water with Rob and Sean! Before booking we read so many reviews, both positive and negative about all different charters in Kauai. This group is top notch. Fishing is a gamble but Rob and Sean clearly know the island and where to fish. We hit some and missed some but they made sure to make us feel at home the entire time! Even with two teens onboard, they went out of their way to help the kids land monster Tuna! Standup fisherman and a wonderful charter. Would do this fishing trip again in a heartbeat!

This was our first time in December as well. Reach out to your captain prior to departure to see what the swell and Temps might be so you know what to wear. Shorts were appropriate. Wear flip flops so you can easily remove prior to entering the cabin.

The experience of being on the ocean was worth the price of admission. It’s fishing, not catching, so don’t expect nonstop action. The captain put us on some small yellowfin at the start, so we all had fish to eat. We boated a 20 pound yellowfin and lost a nice mahi-mahi right at

Try to contact a charter before you schedule your trip, they will tell you when is the best time to fish depending on species.

Try and time your trip with good weather (low winds and swells). We had great weather and it added to our experience.

As would all fishing trips, you never know what you might catch, or not catch, keep that in mind first.

Days can be cool to start and hot at the end, bring a jacket and sunscreen at the same time. Drink lots of water!

I came in late November, so fishing was slowing down. I expected that, but it was actually a great day to go fishing and we caught Mahi-Mahi and Tuna. Great place to go and not crowded.

Not sure what the seas are like year round but the sea was rough today and the fish were biting
