What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Willis, Texas for the first time?

He baits your hooks, takes you where have the best chance to catch fish, explains why “the spots” are a good place to wet your line. He also cleans your catch and has an awesome attitude.

Come to Wills to fish northern Lake Conroe, it’s laid-back, with low boat traffic and very pristine. The primary target during May is catfish and you can cast to them and they do put up a fight ranging in size from 2 to 3 pounds. The captain will fillet your catch, but you also have the option to take them home and clean them yourself if you want get more from your catch. Enjoy!

I would highly recommend captain Ray. Very nice and very knowledgeable. If you're a seasoned fisherman he will make sure you have what you need and if your a beginner he is more than accommodating and helpful.

I definitely recommend bringing water / other refreshments and snacks to drink for your trip to stay hydrated and not have an empty stomach so you dont have to miss out on a great fishing trip !
