Just enjoy yourself and the views. The fish don’t alway hit right away. The views are amazing and you never know what you’ll see.

If you are fishing in the Lake Placid area, Saranac Lake is better in August. That is where we went as it was recommended by our guide.

Go early. It is very quiet until mid morning but then the jet ski’s and waterskiing begins.
We shifted to quieter spots but some had to be abandoned when the boating picked up.
