What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Clayton, New York for the first time?

Wet weather gear, top and bottom. Windy and sometimes the waves spray ya when traveling from spot to spot. Polarized sunglasses, the water is beautiful!

Consider a guide in the fall. The fish are spread out and it’s a large body of water. I’m an experienced angler but only had success on one out of many shore fishing experiences.
