Just be prepared to have fun catching Salmon or Lake trout
Make sure to check the review for the Captain and boats. I have been going to Ontario Lake for the last 13 years, and the last Captain, Joe Demarco, whom I used for the last 12 trips, sold his boat and recommended Steve Coby to me.
You won't be disappointed. His boat is named Chance Of a Lifetime Charter
you and your family and friends won't be disappointed.

If we had it to do over we would try to go in April/May or wait for September/October. Those are the peak times for Salmon and trout. That said, the weather is more unpredictable and the boats are all busier. Do your homework and choose your boat. You can't go wrong with Reel Addicted in our opinion. Just remember, it's fishing not catching, applies to any boat or Captain you may choose. It's the effort that counts.

Crowded, lots of anglers up and down the entire salmon river. hire a guide and check NYS regulations on hook size and prohibited lures.

Book your charter with Reel Addiction and book your hotel accommodations in Oswego. Short 20 minute ride to the boat!

go with SunMoon adventures. They hook you up with everything you need. You just need to show up ready to fish.

The fishing was slow. It was tough to find fish but J&J sport fishing got us hooked up still.
