I reserve 5 star for those nearly once in a lifetime events. 4 is great and that what this trip was. We had a rough outlook, a pre-trip injury with one of my boys, the other being on the younger side for a charter trip and Capt. Jon made sure we were taken care of and were on fish. If you are looking for a trip out of Bonita you aren’t going wrong here.

Patience is key, saltwater fish are certainly tighter-lipped than a lot of freshwater species. If you know where to go and what bait works (shrimp are great for snapper, catfish, and trout), you will have a busy day on the water!

Book On The Rum Charters and Capt. Ellison! He will put you on the fish! Gor a great inshore experience!

Just take your time be patient and you will get a lot of fish especially around the man Cove areas some days are good and some days are OK. What a great place to fish.

Great weather but it gets extremely hot out, which is expected for mid summer in Florida. The water was nice and flat and not rough which makes it easier to fish too.

Yes great back bay fishing captain new way around the bay and where the fish were we used all the bait

The fishing is weather dependent this come of year. Regardless captain Torey will work very hard to put you on fish.

February is tough. Don’t have huge Gamefish expectations. But a good active day on light tack is always fun.

Nick Spitzley
I would recommend to use black Irish charters.
And to pick a nice calm beautiful morning or evening trip

I have fished here for a couple years and depending upon the season there is always a great mix of fish. Bring sunscreen

Not having to set the hook when you do catch a fish. Back home setting the hock is a way of life.

A half day was a good experience, we were on fish about every stop, Capt Fred did a great job. June is rainy, and can be hot. The 1/2 day was good.

The hotter and sunnier it is, the better you can see the peacock bass in the freshwater canals. I was told they spawn in the heat of the summer

Many of our fishermen were first timers. Captain Eric took very good care of us- request him

Megan Peters
It can be chilly and you may be limited in what you can catch / what’s in season
