It’s all about the weather, we booked the first part of our stay just incase we had bad weather on our booked day with intentions we might be able to out another day later in our trip. You go so far off shore the weather has to be good, it’s well worth it at the chance of getting out.

Use shrimp on a small jig head. Seems to work for everything in the water ways. Haven't figured out ocean shore fishing yet though
