What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Jaco, Puntarenas for the first time?

Book a full day so you can go out deep after the big fish like blue marlin and sailfish. We didn't catch a huge number of fish but the 10 ft blue marlin made up for the number. Took about an hour of our trip just to get him to the boat.

If you plan to bring your own terminal tackle, make sure that the captain and deckhand will allow you to use it.
