Make sure to do your research. My first ever shark trip. Will look at reviews more closely now and only choose based on a lot of good reviews. I got told Navarre isn’t really good for shark fishing anymore so maybe a whole new spot.

Popping cork and live shrimps. I have a kayak and taking this charter was night and day difference. It was nice to not have to do any work at all and we caught fish the whole time we were out. No lulls in the action. He got me to use a popping cork even though I was skeptical, but I caught fish the whole time! Can't wait to go again!

We like the half day morning inshore trips, especially for younger kids. Fishing is ok…catch plenty of fish but a lot are short trout this time of year.

September is a more low-key time. Not as touristy and still some decent fishing. The water and the sand were cool and relaxing. The sound of the waves were mesmerizing.

Hard to plan with weather. Windy on day of our trip so it was more difficult to fish with 6 people on boat but it still worked out well.

Santa Rosa Sound is a good way to experience saltwater fishing. It is protected from the worst of the weather and you don't have to cruise far to find fish.

Winter fishing is tough, but our captain got us on plenty of trout as well as few others. Great family trip.

Weather is unpredictable. I got to luckily go in between a storm coming in and rain. Fish didn't Bite as good as planned but still caught some and had fun. Captain Mike is great.

Be prepared for wet, dry, cool or warm climate. Remember that some days you fish and some days you catch and always remember it is the experience and making memories of a lifetime!

There appeared to be many opportunities to catch fish. We were not fortunate enough to catch any, but that was due to the weather.

Slack tides, still wind and rain made the fishing difficult in late July. Make sure there's some water movement if possible.

Just a different type of fishing down here compared to Grand Isle in Louisiana.

Fish when it is warmer if you are serious about catching. Anytime you go it is a fun experience.

Stay away from a few days before and after full moon, and hope there isn't a easterly wind.

It is nothing like fishing for catfish, crepe or bass. Be ready to us your muscles.
