What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Gulf Breeze, Florida for the first time?

Be aware of the weather conditions. The rain chased us all day and made the water a little rough but we had taken motion sickness beforehand and had no problems. Also make sure you have a guide who knows the area and where to look for fish when the preferred fishing spots aren't available.

You need to know where the fish are due to them moving around so much during this time of year.

Reccomend that you schedule a trip ahead of time. It gets real tight to get a trip in if you try to schedule with in the week.

It would have been 5 star but the seasons for species were changed and we didn’t get the fish we were trying for. Better luck next time!

The drive to the boat ramp from Gulf Breeze on a very busy weekend (Blue Angels) was straight forward.

Be careful about when you book in refards to opening day for Red Snapper. It can quickly get "overfished".

Depending on the weather definitely get off-shore to take advantage of Red Snapper season.

Snapper season could start earlier and other fish could be in season other than that it was great.

We had a great time surf fishing on Pensacola Beach. Give a try - you won't be disappointed!

Book with southbound offshore charters and ask for captain Trey Baker. Money well spent

Go early in the day if you're fishing in July! It can be very hot. Take your sunscreen!
