If you're staying in Port Renfrew, bring lunch and snack supplies. Bring hiking and rain gear, and a sense of adventure. Plenty of cool outdoor activities in addition to fantastic fishing opportunities.

We found a great condo complex just a 5 min drive from the launch area. Take a good supply of groceries, though there is a small store with basic essentials, veg, meats, and general groceries. A bit pricey. Also some liquor. .

Try to negotiate off season pricing, and bring some fall weather clothing / apparel that can withstand getting wet. Even if it doesn't rain the fog and spray off the water may dampen your early morning start. Id say neoprene gardening or fishing gloves are a must, you'll be holding onto wet cold aluminum as you bounce your way to the secret spots.
