Maybe book a double trip, Port Mansfield Is a little out of the way so Make it worth while do a morning trip and in Maybe go for some flounder in the evening

Late winter on, March, should be better. Watch the tide. We could have walked across the bay. Poco Loco bait shop and marina was well equipped.

There is no fishing in Harlingen- I would definitely recommend fishing in Port Mansfield which is about a 45 minute drive.

Hire a charter. Fishing from peers or wading is very slow. Every Summer there is very little live bait if you like to fish that way. I would recommend early to mid Fall
