The Tarpon have arrived in Islamorada Florida. These fish are large and fun to catch on light tackle.

Had a great day fishing we caught lots of Spanish Mackerel and some real nice Mangrove Snapper too! This type of fishing is all done in calm shallow water.

Fishing in Islamorada is very good right now. We have two boats to accommodate the Offshore and Backcountry fishermen One for Reef patch fishing and one for Backcountry fishing. The Backcountry fishing is very good right now. We are catching Snook, Redfish, and some real nice Snappers. You don't have to worry about the weather this time a year in the Backcountry because it's always calm. The islands block the wind.
