Capt. Max is back after summer vacation! The north winds are here and the fall season is underway. Schools of tired fish are needing to eat after long journies. Baitfish are plentiful as well as sea turtles, dolphins and signs of a healthy ecosystem. Redfish and Snook are most prevalent, snapper are still around and cobia and triple tail. Tarpon are showing early in the morning and at sundown. Mackerel, bluefish, trout, and sharks are around the flats and bars. All inshore species are readily available. If you have a bucket list fish, now is the time. Get em’ before it gets too cold!

Tampa bay lucked out big time dodging the eye of hurricane Ian and God bless those severely affected. It seems as if fish took refuge from down south into tampa bay. Post-storm we have been seeing larger numbers in schools of fish. As well as catching some irregular, more tropical species. Right now just about every species is available, take advantage of it before the water gets too cold!

Summer is finally here-probably my favorite. And im not one for favorites. Just about every inshore species is available. Snook, snapper, trout, mackerel, redfish, tarpon, cobia, tripletail, sharks, jacks, you name it. The bay is full of bait and the fish are right behind them. Get em before it gets too hot!

Once I saw a lime green oak tree covered in pollen and a couple love bugs, I told whoever i was with that day, “its on baby!” I was right. Since that day a few weeks ago the water has risen 10 degrees and fish are literally everywhere. Every species except tarpon which are soon to come. Big snook, redfish, mackerel, sharks and more. Capt. Max found some lunkers. Almost every trip caught a trophy fish. Snook over 30 inches, some near 40. Biggest redfish was at 38in. Big jacks are also around which will have you needing a nap after fighting. Sharks are here as well, some nice fun sized bull sharks. Book your trip today!

Everything is biting right now. We’re in between seasons and the fish are pushing up in the bay. This is one of the best years ive ever seen despite the red tide over the summer. And im serious. Tons of bait which is followed by tons of fish, have pushed up in the bay and are feeding heavily before their blood gets cold. You name it, its biting. Tarpon are even accessible and snook and redfish seem to be eating everything in sight. Wheather you’re experienced or not, Capt. Max will put you on em’.
