After having so many days of bad weather (strong winds and high waves), the season is staring nicely! Mahi Mahi are regulars on every trip and Billfish are becoming a common sight too. Tournaments are starting this weekend and will have them every weekend from now and for more than a month. Sailfish make great pictures. This is the time of the year that we like to invite everyone to come down and fish the area.

The heat wave has finally passed and Mahi Mahi are responding to it. Both boats ("Grand Slam" and "Why Not?") have been very busy today with them getting over 15 fish on the lines. Not only quantity but size has improved. Massive rain last night, and a bit of wind too.... cloudy today, all of these helping cool down the water...Dorado is responding immediately! Fished the Yucatán Channel on a 4-hour trip....wish we could have had more time to see if we could get some billfish too. Awesome day!
