The summer pattern is starting to heat up with a hot king mackerel bite!

Found a nice class of fish on Monday June 9th with Don Norman and crew.

Another successful stream trip! Put Erik and his crew on some solid gaffer Mahi last Thursday. Action was steady all day.

It has been close to 10 years since the Yellowfin Tuna have been caught in good numbers off of the coast of Wrightsville beach but it appears that has come to an end for at least this year. The yellowfin were plentiful and good size on Sunday, we caught 7 Tunas, a dozen or so mahi and a couple wahoo. This kind of fishing only lasts for a couple weeks before the water warms up so book your trip now before they're gone! dates are filling up.

We had a great year with some of our full day trips. During the summer our full day bottom trips can yield some absolute monster groupers. We typically catch Scamp, Gag and Red grouper along with other tropical species from the deep that can range from trigger fish to hog snapper and anywhere in between. Our biggest gag was 38 pounds and we had some red groupers in the low 20 pound range. An awesome an action packed trip to book!

on 4/29/20 we ventured out to the Gulfstream in search of wahoo and mahi. we were greeted with hungry fish and steady action all day. total tally was 6 wahoo, 3 mahi, 1 tuna and a sailfish to end the day. Fishing is starting to heat up, shake off that cabin fever and take a trip offshore!
