We ventured out to the gulf stream on Monday with a crew of 5 and were able to go 4 for 6 on Wahoo, conditions were rough early on in the morning but ended up calming down for a beautiful ride home in the afternoon. Yesterday a friend and I ventured out to the clear blue waters of the gulf stream to try and find some Wahoo. The Wahoo fishing this winter has been mediocre at best but I'm glad to say that yesterday this was finally not the case. We quickly limited out with four nice sized Wahoo and some Blackfin Tuna to go along with it. The fishing was so good we stayed and caught seven more Wahoo that we then released since we were already out our limit. It was steady action and hopefully a sign of good fishing to come.
