We headed out foe a little early season kingfish action. We caught our bait in one throw of the cast net and headed out the inlet. The kingfish wouldng cooperate today but the amberjacks snd giant red snappers more than made up for it! Catching 25 plus pound red snapper on 20 pound kingfish tackle is an amazing accomplishment. After a little bit we decided to switch it up and do a little bottom fishing. Lots of action on the bottom bite and we were able to bring home plenty of mangrove and lane snapper for an awesome fresh fish dinner.
