Been chasing trout and tripletails this past week seeing them in numbers. Sight casting tripletails in the late mornings with live shrimp. And catching trout first light to anout 10 am. Catching trout on plastics and live shrimp. The water is getting better every day. You neber know what you might catch!

Took out Mr Coady and his wife for two half day trips back to back. The first day we were dealt with slack tide and the trout bite was kinda tough. But we went searching for tripletails and saw 5 of them. We lost one after setting the hook and caught the one in the picture it went 18.5 inches. We caught some small redfish as well on plastics and live shrimp. For day 2 we had strong outgoing tide and where the trout was the day before they weren’t there. The water actually dirtied uo over night. But we ended up finding some sheepshead and some good sized trout on a reef. One of those trout went 4lbs! We caught around 50 fish each day.

Picked up this group from the casino early this morning and made out way to the shrimp house then to the fishing grounds. We target trout at first light but couldn’t manage to find keeper trout. We moved further south and found a few keeper trout and a ton of redfish. Some were caught on plastics and some on live shrimp. Also found a pompano and caught a few sharks. Fishing is improving everyday never know what is going to be on the end of the line.

Don’t have time to post multiple reports but this is this week reports. We are catching lots of redfish from small to dinosaurs ( which i call them those instead of bulls haha). As well lots of black drum and trout from 10 inch to 24 inch trout. As well sheepshead some of then ranging up to 8lbs. Each day is different we are getting rain storms on the lake every day some times we run from them and some we fish in. Depending on if there is lightning or no lightning. Everything is being caught on live shrimp or plastics but we have both onboard. We have also been seeing lots of alligators which is alwas a neat sight to see if you have never seen a gator. Fishing is hot and don’t miss out.

Been going scouting here lately since had some cancelations due to hurricane beryl that hit the Texas coast. We are catching everything. Trying new areas to see if they are producing and so far so good. Early mornings we are catching fish on plastics then switching to live shrimp late mornings. Fishing from the marsh to the gulf of mexico.

Full moon and slow tides is making fishing tough but we are still catching some fish and putting some boxes together. Today the redfish and trout were a really tough bite but the sheephead and black drum were abundant. Caught some small trout on plastics and the rest were on live shrimp.
