The river temps are up after the big influx of water has tapered down to manageable flows. Bass fishing is going to be getting better as this week brings sun and warmer temps!

Some quality fish amid a tough bite was nice to see. As waters warm fish movement will increase and so will the carch rates!

Jigging deep water is still providing eater bluegills. This prolonged fallish weather has made things relatively predictable!

The big fish are getting hungry. Surface temps in the mid 50’s means fish are moving into shallower weed beds that are getting sunshine and are still green. They are on the prowl for young sunfish and other forage, which are in large schools right now. Should stay good for a little while longer too!

Seems like common sense, but once you locate a school you just need to catch one. Right now fish are in schools of consistent size fish. Find one good bluegill, you’ve found a whole school of them. The gills are often hungry right now and most of the work is just finding schools of fish that you want to catch. Once you do, they provide a consistent bite until they move. It pays to know your lake because if you do, you move to your secondary spots and the bite may continue.
