Trip Summary

Warmwater nymphing remains the ticket right now during an otherwise challenging lake fishing week. There is no shortage of fish to be caught. These river fish are always high quality. A constant flow of food; mayflies, caddis, stoneflies, crawfish, minnows, etc has them chunky and far more ready for battle. Come try fly fishing for them! As a side note, the challenge of fly fishing for suckers is enticing. The Northern Hogsucker pictured here was 4.5” over the state minimum for a master angler award ?
