Warmwater nymphing remains the ticket right now during an otherwise challenging lake fishing week. There is no shortage of fish to be caught. These river fish are always high quality. A constant flow of food; mayflies, caddis, stoneflies, crawfish, minnows, etc has them chunky and far more ready for battle. Come try fly fishing for them!
As a side note, the challenge of fly fishing for suckers is enticing. The Northern Hogsucker pictured here was 4.5” over the state minimum for a master angler award ?
