Renee did a outstanding job battling it out with 5 king salmon today. She went 5/5 while dealing with some rough water. Nice work! Salmon fishing keeps getting better each trip.

Today the water seemed to show some signs of leveling out with some solid salmon and teout bites. The water temps are still working in to a separation, but we were able to find a good depth to target after the heavy winda finally pushing some warm water north. Salmon and trout were hitting meat rigs with herring exclusively.

Salmon numbers in Frankfort and Leland kepp pickin up. Warm south winds have been pushing good numbers of mature kings and some coho north.

The big trout have been hungry this week. The Salmon are scattered all over but more and more showing up daily. Biggest trout of the year came this week measuring 34”(master angler certificate and patch will be coming to that angler) and weighing in at over 16lb!

The Salmon have found their way back to northern waters! After a cold spring the Kings and some coho are showing up in some decent numbers.
