Salmon Fishing out if Whitehall Michigan right now is absolutely amazing, we had over 25 fish on the hook we lost a few mostly coho. Fishing shallow is where its at 50-70 ft of water to start then stepping out to 120-150 later on.

The big ones have finally began to show back up after the may push. Fishing close to port we caught 6 and lost more than we caught. It wasnt our day for keeping fish on the hook, but none the less the clients enjoyed the morning even with rain!

After a few weeks of fairly slow salmon fishing , they are starting to show back up in Whitehall Michigan. The day started off slow at 9:30 am we knly had 1 fish! We made a decision to try in shallow and boom fish were stacked in the next hour we hit 8 more fish 2,3,4,6 colors, and 150 copper. We made it in to 60-70 ft of water 10 miles north of port . Bait is all over aswell as coho, steelhead, and kings

Bluegills have really moved onto their beds this weekend! Water temp is 70 and they are eating anything that you drop, plastics, wax worms it doesn’t matter. White Lake in whitehall is full of non stop action right now!

The gills are on their beds and ready to eat! Water temp is prime ar 70 degrees, we just fished under 2 hours today and it was non stop action ! Wax works on tear drops were the way to go!

The panfish are on their beds on Whitelake. Water is 68-70 degrees currently! Fish right now are biting as fast as you can cast you bait! This is a amazing trip for children. Wax worms with tear drops are a great combination, the teardrop helps so the fish don’t swallow the hook!
