Easter weekend fishing
April 15, 2017

Birthday trip!
April 14, 2017
Met Sam, Kyle and Alex this morning and left out to really nice seas and a beautiful sunrise. We made our way out to the jetties, set the anchor and immediately started catching fish. We kept the kids busy all morning catching sheepshead, redfish and gulf trout all morning. We kept enough for a good dinner to celebrate Kyle's birthday and released the rest. The highlight of the trip was Kyle's 38", 22 lb red drum. A great day introducing a great family to the Texas gulf coast.

Saturday morning fishing
March 18, 2017
I met Ann, Lauren and Seth at the slip and we eased out to the jetties just in time to see the sun rise. Finally, a day with light winds this week. I dropped the anchor over the side and tossed a live shrimp out. Set the second pole out and before I could get the third in the water we had 2 fish on. The 2 kids caught fish non stop until they had their limits. Total catch was 10 sheepshead,, 3 redfish, 2 releases and 5 black drum that were all released.
