Red drum made a showing last week catching fish over the slot size on bait plenty of ribbonfish which have a very white non fishy taste. Some blues and Spanish around as well. Ran an all day and caught amberjacks on live bait and a bonus cobia.

Water temp is now in the high 60s to 70 degrees and most of our summer species are trickling in. Cobia are around as well as Spanish mackerel. The ribbon fish have made a showing but very few blues. Sharks have been abundant too. Wreck fishing for bottom fish on 6 hours trips and all days has been ok. Thanks Devin

Cobia and spanish mackerel madean early arrival out of Oregon inlet in nags head nc. We saw 30 or more cobia and kept 4 to 48lbs. Spanish mackerel showed good south of the inlet with limits caught.

68 degrees yesterday with bluefish, Spanish mackerel a few nice false albacores. I missed it but several boats found some schools of big black drum aling tge beach too. Sea mullet on the bottom. Itll get better with each passing week now. Thanks Devin

Had a rough start this spring and had to repower my boat with a new Cummins diesel engine. Running great so far. Fished the last few days on some wrecks and rocks catching sea bass small grey trout and other bottom fish. All on spinning tackle.

Still great action from spanish mackerel albacores ribbonfish and afew kings have shown up. It was going off this week. Thanks devin
