I’m disappointed that the knit on Redfish has decreased to 1 fish per angler. We caught the limit in less than 90 minutes. The trout were not biting so we fished for 2 1/2 hours with no success, which was disappointing.

We seemed to be at the start of a slow down for the bite, but overall we still caught a good amount of fish! Seth was able to keep me on the bite with trout, chasing for large fish.

I would say that Okeechobee was an interesting place to fish because not only do you catch fish but you see other animals as well. We saw about twenty gators, one pig, and bunch of birds. So it was great for nature goers!

Snook goes out of season may 1st so if that's what you want to eat, make sure you go before then. Other than that, we had a great time catching trout and redfish as well as a black tip shark. Great fishing!
