Trip Summary

Had an epic morning on the water with Bruce and his crew, who were visiting and eager to see what the Ponce Inlet nearshore bite had to offer. We fired up the Pathfinder 2300 HPS, shot through the inlet under bluebird skies. We hugged the beach south past the jetty. Slick calm seas set the stage for nonstop action—weakfish lit up the bite early, followed by a doormat flounder and the surprise of the day: a hammerhead that hit like a freight train. Rods bent, smiles wide, and memories made. What a day!
