Trip Summary

On July 2, we hosted a memorable 4-hour fishing trip for a father and son, starting at 7 a.m. The weather was calm and ideal for a day on the water. While there was still some sargasso present, it was noticeably less than in previous outings, allowing for smoother navigation and better fishing conditions. Using trolling techniques, they were able to catch several mahi mahi, adding excitement to the calm day. Overall, it was a successful trip with great company, improved sea conditions, and plenty of action.

Our afternoon fishing trip on July 16th kicked off at 2:30 PM, and from the moment we hit the water, it was all about the mahi mahi. The bite was hot — constant action throughout the entire 4-hour charter. We were trolling with live bait and ballyhoo, which turned out to be the perfect setup. The ocean was calm, and the conditions ideal for spotting floating debris and weed lines, which always bring the fish. Every pass brought in more dorado — beautiful, vibrant mahi mahi that gave our guests plenty of excitement and full coolers. This has been the trend for several days now. It’s mahi mahi mayhem out there, and we don’t see it slowing down anytime soon. If you’re thinking about getting out on the water, now’s the perfect time to jump on a trip and enjoy this incredible season!

On the morning of Monday, July 15th at 8:00 AM, we set out on a 6-hour fishing trip with a wonderful family excited for a day on the water. The weather was sunny with calm seas—perfect conditions for a successful outing. Using a mix of trolling, live bait, and ballyhoo, the family caught 7 mahi mahi, bringing plenty of excitement to the boat. After the tour, their fresh catch was prepared at our beachside bar, making for a delicious and memorable end to an action-packed morning. A truly fun and rewarding day at sea!
