Trip Summary

Two day trip 140 lbs in the boat. While Springs seem to big getting bigger the Coho are just starting to show. Halibut, Lings and Rock fish are steady.

Still a few openings for the month of Sept. DFO has announced an in season change to the halibut regulations. As of Sept 1st until the close of this years season the daily limit for Halibut has changed from one fish max size 112 cm to 2 fish max size of 1...

Half day with family area 12 just out of the harbour in Hardy. Everyone got their ling cod. Unfortunately we ahad to return the halibut just over the legal size at 117 cm.

Trip with friends two traps total 24, 7 inch plus keepers kept 3 limits and returned the rest guest went home with 12 crabs and 250 spot prawn they enjoyed a BBQ on the boat when the sun broke through the fog
