Trip Summary

One for the books today! I had the pleasure of taking Aurora and their crew out for a 5 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We set off from South Padre Island, TX in the early morning hours of a beautiful summer day. The conditions were perfect for fishing, with clear skies stretching as far as the eye could see. Had a crew of four join us for a winter morning trip starting in the early hours. Had a crew of two join us for a winter morning trip starting in the early hours. Cloudy skies hung over us throughout the day with rain rolling in, but that didn't stop us from getting out on the water. The weather made for some interesting conditions as we headed out with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We focused our efforts on bottom fishing and drift fishing techniques using light tackle to target the fish. The crew managed to land some nice Speckled Trout and Redfish during our time out there. Bottom fishing proved effective in these conditions, and the light tackle setup gave us good control when the fish hit. Megan and family headed out for our fall morning trip with partly cloudy skies and the possibility of storms rolling in later.
