My Crew member and friend Nathan went on a scout trip to get some fishing lined up for Hola Cappy Charters. We went for a morning trip to the coronado islands in north Baja Mexico and the bite was on! If youve ever wanted to catch a yellowtail this is the trip to go on and the coronados is the place to be! Book today, you dont want to miss it. Surface irons and Bait was the top choice for the yellows being 10-25 lb fish.

On Thursday July 17th our group wanted to target Bluefin tuna on surface lures! No bait needed for this one! We made an afternoon run out to the grounds and were greeted with very hungry and excited Bluefin Tuna! We got into a zone of foaming spots of bluefin as soon as we got into the zone! 6 of our 7 Tuna were 25-35 lbs and our 7th was 65 lb! Nothing but smiles and laughs and good times on the Hola Cappy! We definitely hooked more but you cant land all of them all the time! No lack of tuna for the guys and we had a very enjoyable ride back to the harbor with a boat full of fish! Nothing gets me more excited than fun fishing, beautiful weather, and great people! Dont miss out on this awesome offshore fishing! - Captain Danny

On Wednesday July 16th, we had Josh,Hunter,Jeff, and Mike aboard Hola Cappy! Our trip began with a 60 nautical mile run west in absolutely gorgeous weather and it took less than 2 hours. Throughout the morning and early afternoon we saw exceppent sign of Bluefin tuna of all sizes. 15-200 lbs. getting them to bite was a chore. Around 3 pm, the tide had switched and the mood had switched as well with these fish. We spent the afternoon running and gunning on these beautiful Bluefin Tuna! We were aboe to land one in the evening that went 75 lbs! We had a few heartbreaks due to the size of fish and the casting tackle but made it happen! The ride home was flat calm!
