Trip Summary

One for the books today! Summer fishing on South Padre Island, TX brought clear conditions and a great day on the water. I took Todd and their crew out for our 5 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We hit the water early, launching just as the sun was coming up over the horizon. With our gear rigged and ready, we set out to explore the diverse fishing opportunities South Padre Island has to offer. We mixed it up, trying our hand at surf fishing along the coast, then moving into the bay for some inshore action. As the day progressed, we even ventured offshore for some trolling. The variety of techniques kept things interesting, and it was a perfect showcase of what makes fishing in this area so special. While we didn't land any monsters this time, we did manage to hook into some Spotted Trout, which put up a good fight and gave everyone a taste of the action. South Padre Island's waters never disappoint, even on days when the big ones are playing hard to get. The clear conditions made for a beautiful day out on the water, and the crew seemed to enjoy the experience of trying different fishing methods. Mike and I headed out early morning for some trout fishing action around South Padre Island TX. The partly cloudy skies made for comfortable conditions on the water as we launched our 3 hour Morning Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We focused on drift fishing with live bait to target the flats and sand pockets. Mike pulled in some nice Speckled Trout using bare bone rods throughout the morning.
