We had a tough 12 hr and stayed out 2 hours longer-14 hrs for a couple small makeral and a Bonito at Catalina. Q4 mile bank was quiet . 267 was quiet. Out front it was slow. The scarab has a 5 hr 6am-11 am fir 2 Calico Bass. I talked to a few other guys on the radio and when I got back. Everyone just shook their head- thats fishing. We tried everything shuts off as quick as it turns back on. There is always tomorrow! One of our local stick boats landed a 450 and 340 swordfish today. I witnessed the second catch from our boat and it was epic. My buddy saw 3 4-5 foot makos this morning on his way to the 267 where nobody was home. I hit the 14 mile bank 2 times today and Nada. THE STICK NOAT CAPTAIN SAID HE SAW A BIG BIG BIG MAKO OUT FRONT TODAY.
