Mako Sharks , Bass and Barracuda ...and

RockenReel Sportfishing reporting that the Bass and Barracuda bite is on. Halibut are in the mix. Big red Rockfish are hitting hard. We lost a 6-7 foot mako at the swip step yesterday- epic battle backing down, etc. Peeling line w WSB AND MAKOS!

RockenReel Sportfishing reporting "Epic fishing". Yesterday we smashed the Calico Bass, Pacific Makeral and Calfornia Barracuda. Barracuda have been on the troll. Clouds of all you can catch Calico Bass- so many that all the seals in the area bombarded us and they were catching and eating the bass Bass like an all you can eat buffet. The guys are oit on a 6 hour charter as I type. They left at 6 am this morning. Its 9 am now so 3 hours into their charter and Captain Noah texted me and said the Bass fishing was excellent this morning. He sent this nice White Sea Bass Photo- they caught it this morning 5/24/26 at 8 am - We have been catching Nice Barracuda and White Sea Bass. Captain Noah is now headed out Shark Fishing - Mako Sharks / Thresher Sharks- at our secret spot ! Booya

RockenReel Sportfishing reporting a Slow day w only a few small lizard fish. Had two 3 hr charters this morning and it was slow. The seas were not choppy but the currents wer moving quickly and the fish would not cooperate today. It happens sometimes. Please do not shoot the messinger. Big luxury sportfishing vessel equipped with new poles and reels, fresh line, chum, live bait, dead bait, sqid, experienced crew etc but we cant control the fish or currents. When mother does not want to cooperate we go the xtra mile however sometimes there is nothing we can do to make the fish bite. Sometimes fishing lives up to it's name. I post accurate reports good or not so good to be real and truthful. Every hour is different on the ocean. One hour can me no bites and the second hour can be non stop action. I will mention my buudy Blake caught a 21 lb Halibut today right out front. Thank you for reading. - Captain Steve
