On March 5th, we headed out for a 6 hour fishing and snorkeling adventure with a group of three guests. The weather was beautiful and sunny, though the ocean had a bit of chop, making for an exciting ride offshore. We started the trip fishing with live bait and focused on bottom fishing, where the group caught several nice snappers. Later in the trip we switched techniques and began jigging, which paid off with a strong amberjack. After the fishing action, the group enjoyed some time snorkeling in the clear Caribbean waters. To finish the experience, the captain prepared a fresh ceviche using the catch of the day, the perfect way to end a great day on the water.

On March 3rd, we had a great 4 hour fishing tour with a couple who joined us for a morning adventure, departing at 7:00 AM. The weather was beautiful and sunny, with hot temperatures throughout the trip. The ocean was a little choppy, but nothing too uncomfortable, conditions were still very manageable and perfect for getting lines in the water. We started the trip trolling, using both live bait and artificial lures to cover more ground and look for active fish. After working a few productive areas, we switched things up and finished the trip with jigging and bottom fishing. That strategy paid off. The couple successfully landed a nice amberjack and several yellowtail snappers, making for an exciting and rewarding morning on the water. Overall, it was a fun trip with good action, solid technique changes throughout the morning, and a happy couple enjoying their time at sea.

We headed out on a 4 hour private fishing tour on February 28th with three anglers, departing at 8:00 AM. Conditions were nice on the water. There was a light breeze and a bit of wind at times, but it stayed sunny and comfortable with good visibility and manageable seas. The group decided to focus on bottom fishing and it paid off. They landed many snapper and grouper throughout the trip, with steady action that kept the rods bent and everyone involved. We worked a few productive spots and continued to find fish, making for a very solid morning on the water. As a fun bonus, we even had a pelican stop by and hang out on the boat for a while, adding a great little wildlife moment to the trip. Overall, it was a great morning with plenty of snapper, good conditions, and a fun vibe from start to finish.
