Fishing Report January 14th 12:30 PM 4 hour private charter with a wonderful couple visiting from France. We had an amazing sunny afternoon with calm winds and a flat ocean which made for very comfortable fishing conditions. We began the trip trolling along the area and it paid off with a nice bonito to start the action. After that we decided to switch it up and move into jigging to target stronger reef and deep water species. The change worked perfectly and we hooked into a powerful amberjack. We used a mix of live bait and artificial lures throughout the charter and both helped keep the bites coming. Great energy on board and a fun, productive day on the water.

Fishing Report Friday, January 16th 12:30 PM 4 hour private charter with a group of four friends. The ocean was flat and conditions were very comfortable. The afternoon was sunny with light winds, making it an ideal day to get out on the water. We began the trip trolling to cover ground and search for active fish, but the bite was slow and we didn’t get the results we were hoping for. After a good effort, we switched tactics and focused on jigging and working the water more directly. That change made the difference and the group landed a solid amberjack, giving everyone some great action and a well earned catch. We used a mix of live bait and artificial lures throughout the charter, and the crew stayed busy trying different approaches until we found what worked. Great trip with a fun group and a nice finish to the afternoon.

On January 13, we headed out for a 6-hour fishing charter with a 12:30 PM departure. The sea was a bit choppy, but overall the conditions were still comfortable enough to fish. We started the day trolling to cover ground and look for action, but after a while with no bites we adjusted the plan and switched over to jigging. Since it’s amberjack season right now, we focused on the right depths and structure, and it paid off with an absolute trophy, a huge amberjack. Great teamwork on board and a solid result for the day.
