Last week we experienced some great bass fishing all on artificial baits catching numbers of bass from 2 to 5lbs. This week we had a March cold front come through and dropped the water temps from upper 70s back down to the lower 60s and we fished 20mph North winds that made the bite very tough. Hopefully this is our last cold front of the year. This weekend the weather forecastis is showing a turn around and the weather warming back up with the water temps in turn the bite should turn back on and bring more big bass back up shallow!

Lake Okeechobee is firing off with numbers and size! Customers are catching em on topwater swimjigs swimming worms hollowbody frogs rattletraps and flippin the grass. Should be some of the best fishing we’ll see in the next couple months with the warmer weather.

This past week the weather warmed up and so did the bass fishing! Customers caught fish on swimjigs swimming worms popping frogs and pitching. We are coming into some of my favorite months of the year for bass fishing as winter is ending and spring is near should be some of the best fishing we’ll see all year!
