after scouring the Bay the day before in finding only small trout, I reached out to one of my long time guide friends who gave me a tip, which worked out well today this is a team effort, sport, and I'm glad we can share back-and-forth. The information worked out perfectly for us as we put a three man limit for each of the guys 15 fish total and we were still catching and releasing. What a day what a team what a great group of guys.

The forecast today was thunderstorms, cloudy conditions, high winds, which would all tend to put the chill in most fisherman however, this family of three met the challenge with flying colors. We had a great time starting out in the intercoastal waterway, looking for savory black drum and sheep‘s head, but we ended up catching a few speckled trout. Our search continued most of the day for the elusive striped fish to no avail this time, but with plenty of smiles and lots of small fish, they decided they would return for another fishing adventure on the middle of Texas coast in the near future.

Today's group was two adult men putting their boys on the salt water for a morning fishing trip. Their flounder gigging adventure didn't make last night so we took advantage of their long drive to POC from San Angelo by having a morning blast. There were fish just that they were either too small or didn't wanna eat! We ended with a solid representative of the Speckled Trout species to cap off the day.
